Renovation of the Ermitage
The Ermitage is one of the oldest buildings in the Ardennes region and was built by the Count of Clervaux. Today, this historic building belongs to the State and is listed as a national heritage site. Renovation works initiated by the Service des Sites et Monuments Nationaux (National Sites and Monuments Service) were completed in 2011.
The dreamlike atmosphere and tranquillity of the place are conducive to contemplation and creativity. Already in 2000, the Ermitage featured an artist's garden with ephemeral installations.
In line with a concept that endorses the cultural promotion of historic sites, the house is ready to welcome artists and researchers.
