Artist in residence

Access to the artist-in-residence programme is by invitation. There will be no call for applications.
An unsolicited application in the form of a project proposal is nevertheless an option.

These applications will be judged on their artistic merit and in accordance with the artistic programming of the a.s.b.l.

THE PROGRAMM

The residency programme is aimed at all photographers, with no age, nationality or gender requirements.

Studies in photography, visual arts, applied arts or similar are considered an asset.

Collective projects are accepted on the condition that they involve only two people.

The intention of the association is to promote interaction with the regional population. This interaction may be approached and developed in the context of personal and individual research. An alternative is a context of open research, involving part of the population, for instance in the form of a workshop.


APPLICATION FILE

Only one file per person will be accepted.

The file must be sent in digital form (PDF format) and must include:

- A portfolio of recent images serving as references.

- The images must be accompanied by a text explaining the research and the context.

- A CV of the author and a covering letter.

- A description of the project that the participant wishes to develop during his or her residency in Clervaux.

The association's administrative committee will conduct the selection process of the application files.

Incomplete applications will be rejected.

For administrative reasons only withheld candidates will be contacted. We apologize for any inconvenience.


NOTE

The programme may be cancelled by the association at any moment without prior notice, without any claim for damages arising.
