Marie Capesius at the artists in residence Stilfs

We would like to congratulate Marie Capesius on her artist residency in the municipality of Stilfs and look forward to working with the municipality of Stilfs in South Tyrol.
Marie Capesius will live in the Pfeiferhaus for a month and work on her project on the subject of ‘Psychogenealogy’.

‘I am interested in the stories that we consciously and unconsciously carry within us over generations’.

The Stilfs artist residency is being created as part of the PNRR-funded project ‘Stilfs - Resilienz erzählen’. 2024 is the first year of the artist residency.

The small mountain village of Stilfs has managed to retain its character over the last few centuries. It has always been known as a place of creative thinkers, artists and hard-working people who are deeply rooted in the territory. Open-minded and curious about new things, yet conscious of tradition. Thanks to its narrow streets, the former mining village has been able to preserve its architectural features to this day.
