In collaboration with Potty Lotty a.k.a. Charlotte Reuter and Emweltberodung Lëtzebuerg a.s.b.l. (EBL), Jessica Theis has launched the 1001 tonnes school project. Since September 2022, Jessica Theis has been offering primary and secondary schools educational and artistic activities on the subject of littering, in order to raise awareness of this particular issue among the younger generation.

Potty Lotty, who tells the story of "Monsieur Ramasse" in a theatrical and funny way, introduces the theme. Potty Lotty always dresses up for her roles and presents herself tastefully in a "dirty costume". Potty Lotty is a theatre character created by Charlotte Reuter.

"Monsieur Ramasse" is the story of two children who make an unusual discovery in the forest one day. Monsieur Ramasse needs his friends and their help. Luckily, the children have always collected wild waste in the forest, and this encounter teaches them the importance of not littering in nature.

"Precious Plastic" is a machine that allows the children to make new objects out of discarded plastic. In this impressive machine, children shred plastic objects into small pieces, which are then creatively arranged in a new pattern to make a new object.

After making a new plastic object, the children learn in an interactive way about the different types of plastic they can find in everyday life. The plastic machine is a tangible illustration of the recycling process that the children can apply directly.
