The mayor and aldermen of the municipality of Clervaux and the Cité de l'image cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition OURs by Karin Schmuck on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11 am at the Brahaus.
In the presence of the artist.
In spring 2025, the artist Karin Schmuck was a guest at an artist residency in Clervaux; the works created there are now being shown for the first time. The exhibition centres on her photographs, taken during her walks along the Our, the river that forms the border between Luxembourg and Germany. In her works, the voices of the region merge with landscape, memory and questions of community and borders. In addition, an installation will be presented in the castle passageway, which expands the dialogue between place, history and the perspectives gathered in the exhibition in a unique way.
