The Camera on t’Our photography club is a creative community of photography enthusiasts from northern Luxembourg, which grew out of a photography course at the Lycée Edward Steichen. The club brings together people of all ages and levels of experience – from ambitious beginners to seasoned photographers. What unites them is a shared passion for capturing special moments, discovering new perspectives and creating with light. Regular meetings, workshops and photo tours characterise the club’s active life, as do creative exchange and continuous artistic development.
The club is particularly keen on projects in public spaces. As a young initiative, Camera on t’Our is increasingly developing its own concepts whilst also participating in projects and events organised by other associations. This open and committed approach is also reflected in its participation in the “PHOTO WEEKEND” in Clervaux.
Three diverse projects have been designed for this occasion, actively involving both visitors and the residents of Clervaux.
The Camera on t’Our photography club is looking forward with great anticipation to the results of these three projects and to presenting the resulting works to a wide audience in Clervaux in July.

The first project is a dog photography session for all dog owners in the region. In a relaxed atmosphere, individual portraits will be taken, with each dog being photographed gently and in a way that captures its personality. To ensure a stress-free environment for the dogs, places are limited; advance registration via the club’s social media channels is therefore required.
Registration is only possible via the QR code.

Another highlight is the “1-Minute Portraits” – a deliberately spontaneous and minimalist photography concept. In the space of just a few moments, expressive portraits are created that focus not on perfection, but on authenticity. The time constraint challenges both the photographers and their subjects to work intuitively and to consciously experience the moment. The result is striking images that show just how much personality can be revealed in a single instant.

The third project is entitled “100 Hands”. The focus is on people’s hands – regardless of age, background or profession. Whether residents or visitors, artists or craftspeople: every hand tells its own story. These are stories of work, experience, emotion and identity. The aim of this project is to create a symbolic portrait of Clerf – entirely without faces, solely through the universal expressiveness of hands.
